KIYI KUMULLARIMIZI ARAŞTIRAN

Türkiye kıyı kumulları ile ilgili 1.010 kaynak tespit ettik. Bu yayınlarda 55 yabancı araştırıcının adı geçmekteve bunlar 60 yayın yapmıştır.

Türkiye kıyı kumulları ile ilgili en fazla yayını olan yabancı 12 yayın ile Fransız Prof. Dr. J.-M. GEHU’dur.  GEHU sadece yayın sayısı ile değil yayınlarında tanımlanan yeni bitki toplulukları ile Türkiye kıyı kumullarına en büyük katkıyı yapmış yabancı bilim adamıdır. GEHU’dan sonra en fazla yayın yapanlar: BYFIELD, A. J (8 yayın), ABDALMOULA, M. M. (4 yayın) ve Prof. Dr. M. COSTA (3 yayın).

Türkiye kıyı kumulları ile ilgili en eski yayın 1846 yılında K. KOCH olup     V. THIRKE’ nin Trabzon ve Bursa’dan topladığı bitkileri verirken bu yayında birkaç kumul bitkisini de vermiştir.

Türkiye kıyı kumullarının vejetasyonu konusunda en eski yayınlar yabancılar için 1973 yılında M. ZOHARY’e (Türkiye kumullarına ait sadece birkaç örneklik alan var) aittir.
